What it does
The VisibleSeed KDS is a heat-tolerant, grease-resistant 15.6-inch touchscreen built for kitchen rails. Orders appear the moment they are placed, timers flag anything running late, and completed items bump off the screen with the included physical bump bar. Sealed front glass wipes clean at close. It pairs natively with the Splitter, or runs the kitchen display app of your existing POS platform.

Do I need the Splitter to use the KDS?
No. The KDS runs standalone with any POS platform that offers an Android kitchen display app. The Splitter becomes useful when your POS only prints tickets: it converts that print stream into a live KDS feed without changing your software.
How does the KDS survive a real kitchen?
The front is sealed glass with an IP54 rating, so steam, grease, and flour wipe off with a towel. The electronics are rated to 50C ambient, which covers the hot line. The bump bar takes the abuse so the screen does not have to.
